Who runs it

Starfion runs these pages and sells the Starfion plans listed here. Starfion plans are ranked by the same published rules as every other plan.

Starfion earns money when you buy a Starfion plan. Plans from other providers are added only with verified, dated sources, and Starfion earns nothing when you choose one of them.

Where the details come from

Starfion plan prices are read from the same values Starfion checkout charges. Terms such as data limits, billing and device requirements come from the published Starfion terms and decision records. Plans from other providers come from each provider's own public plan pages, with the wording quoted as recorded. Every detail carries its source and the date it was checked, shown on each plan page.

A detail that is not published shows as Unknown. It is never shown as zero, included or compatible.

A plan with an older, missing, conflicting or test source is marked uncertain. An uncertain plan is never recommended outright.

How the finder ranks plans

Only plans that meet your answers are ranked. A plan fails when it lacks something you asked for, does not serve the place you chose, or needs a device you said you do not have. Each plan gets a score from four factors:

Cost for your period

50% of the score. The total for the whole period, with every charge in it.

Data fit

25%. Full-speed data against the amount you need.

Calls, texts and hotspot

15%. Whether it includes what you asked for.

Quality of information

10%. Current sources and requirements already confirmed.

Ties go to the lower worst-case cost. A plan is recommended outright only when its information is current, its taxes are published and its cost for your period is exact. Otherwise the finder says why and names the highest-ranked plan with complete information.

How costs are calculated

The first payment adds the first period to every one-time fee. A fee waived for members is waived only when you say you are already a member.

A calendar month and 30 days are not the same length. When the number of charges in your period depends on the day you start, the total is shown as a range. Where data renews on a different schedule from billing, the plan page says so.

Paid placement and referral links

No provider pays to appear on these pages or to rank higher. If paid placement is ever added, it will be labelled Sponsored, shown apart from the ranked results, and it will not change any rank.

Links on these pages are ordinary links. None is an affiliate or referral link. Any future affiliate link will be labelled next to the link.
